Hi,

I wanted to encourage you to make use of the Costa Rica LISTserve!

There are several ways to receive list postings. The first is the  
"feed" mode. Every time someone posts to the LIST, you will receive an  
immediate message. You can respond to each particular message, but  
remember, your response will go to the entire list!

You can respond to individuals, but, only if you e-mail them directly!  
To receive the LIST e-mails in FEED mode, just send an e-mail to  
marineecology-feed @typhoon.wcp.muohio.edu

Another way to interact with the LIST is via the digest mode. Most of  
you are signed-up this way (cuts down on the frequent e-mails). Each  
day, a digest of our discussions is compiled. You are e-mailed a  
compilation of the discussions.

POSTING to the List:
There are two ways to post to the LIST. The first is to respond to an  
initial message that is Posted on the LIST. Just REPLY to an initial  
message. Leave the Re: in the SUBJECT area of the email. But, you can  
put your own title in after the "Re: Lists are.....whatever!"  It makes  
it easier to follow the conversation in the archives if your responses  
have a different title after the Re: !

The second way is to post your announcement or message directly to the  
LIST.  Just send an e-mail to costarica@typhoon.wcp.muohio.edu Type in  
your message and let it rip! Make sure you have your "Subject" filled  
in!
